The online portion of School Yard Fundraiser  is now open.  The auction will run from November 4, 2008 to November 14, 2008.

The Murphy school is a Boston Public School located in Dorchester, MA, established in 1972 and serves 900 children from grade K-1 to grade 8. Our children rank in the top 5% in English and Math among Boston city schools. We also have a very popular afterschool program and Community Center that run out of our facility.

Our School yard lacks any imagination and many parts of it are inaccessible or unsafe. We have partnerships set up with some local businesses and volunteers to provide us with the building help. However, we need the capital to get moving.... PLEASE HELP US!! .  Auction items range from exotic vacation getaways to donated items guaranteed to delight and surprise.  So, tell your friends, family, community. Let the bidding begin!
