Boston Exam School Test
Description:
The Boston Exam School test is this Saturday,
November 8, 2008. Your child should arrive no later than 8:20am and
should eat a good breakfast at home. You can bring, #2 pencils
(sharpened), a water bottle and a snack. No cell phones, no
calculators, etc. are allowed. Students are taking the ISEE and you can
pay additional money to have those scores sent to private schools.

If your child is caught with a cell phone
their test is confiscated. The test is usually over by 12:15PM or close to
it, so they really don't need one if you are picking them up. There are
also school phones that can be used in an emergency.

If your child has an IEP or 504 plan and you
forgot to submit it to Maria Vieira in time to get special accomodations you
need to do it now, so she can make arrangments for the
22nd. No new accomodations can be added at this time (ie: they need to
take the test alone, untimed or enlarged print, etc.) Contact her ASAP at

still take the test as a walk-in. However, schools like BLS fill up fast
with walk-ins. I work the Edwards in Charlestown and we usually have
plenty of room, but you must arrive early to claim a spot in line. Again
they must show photo id (school id, passport or note from school
identifying them.) Students in grades 6, 8, & 9 can take the
test. Students in grade 9 can only apply to the O'Bryant
however.
