For women 20 years and older: This one-to-one mentoring program matches girls (ages 7-15) with women who live in or around their community. Big Sisters spend time with Little Sisters weekly for the first three months and a minimum of twice per month thereafter for at least 12 months.

There are over 200 girls on our waiting list, who want to be matched with a Big Sister, and many of them live in Dorchester. There might be a Little Sister around the corner from you!

Matches meet on days and times of their choosing and do activities that they both enjoy, such as playing games, watching movies or riding bikes. They develop a special friendship based on trust and respect as they learn about and from each other.
